How to Disable Phantoms on Your Minecraft Server

Phantoms are flying hostile mobs that spawn during the night (usually in packs of three) when a player hasn’t slept for three in-game days. This mechanic was introduced to encourage regular sleep in survival gameplay. While they can add challenge and atmosphere, many players find them annoying, especially on creative servers where sleep cycles aren’t followed.

Thankfully, it is very easy to turn them off.

**Step 1:** Log In

Log in to your __Nexuscore Hosting Account__.

**Step 2:** Select the Server

Once on the dashboard, find and select your intended Minecraft server.

**Step 3:** Disable Phantoms

You don't need to stop the server since this change doesn't modify any files. Just head to the Terminal and type the following command in the console:

gamerule doInsomnia false

Alternatively, if you are in-game and have OP permissions, you can type the command directly into the chat.
