How to Install Mods on your Minecraft Server
Mods open up a world of possibilities for your Minecraft server. You can introduce entirely new gameplay mechanics, quests, items, creatures, and environments to expand your world. You can enhance the visual experience with graphical overhauls, realistic textures, and dynamic lighting improvements. On the server side, mods can improve performance by optimizing resource usage.
The sheer number of mods available (well over 200,000) is a testament to the boundless creativity and dedication of the Minecraft community. Whatever type of experience you're looking to create, there's likely a mod perfectly suited for it.
Let’s take a look at how quickly and easily you can install mods on your Nexus Minecraft server!
Log in to your Nexus Hosting Account.

Once on the dashboard, find and select your intended Minecraft server.

From the sidebar, click the More button (three ellipses) to open the pop-up menu, then choose Mods Installer.

You'll now see the Mods Catalog. Here, mods from two major providers are centralized in one place: Modrinth (with over 18,000 mods) and CurseForge (with over 200,000 mods).
Narrow down your search using the search bar and available filters such as Version, Server Software, Sort By, Provider, and Size.

For each mod, you have option to:
Visit the mod's official website.
View and choose from different versions available.
Directly install the latest version from the catalog.

Once you've selected your desired mod, click the** Install** button. You'll receive a success message just under the search bar confirming the installation.
